
Last night went pretty well, considering I cut my finger on a piece of glass reaching for a jar of pasta sauce. We didn’t bother going to multiple places; it was freezing out, I was bleeding, there was no need since I mostly wanted fruit and yogurt and found plenty of both. They were throwing out a lot of flowers from Valentine’s day, so I took a nice bouquet of red roses for myself. There were also a lot of good unopened sauces and yogurts that whose only fault was being smeared with yogurt or mustard from a smashed container. Here’s what I got:

- carrot juice (quart)
- 4 navel oranges
- 3 blood oranges
- 3 lemons
- 6 apples

- a bag of multicolor mini peppers
- a head of cauliflower
- 2 bags of kale
- 1 bagged spinach salad
- frozen blueberries
- frozen broccoli
- gluten free everything bagels
- challah rolls
- fruit and pecan bread
- salsa
- enchilada sauce
- 3 cheese pasta sauce
- pepper jelly
- 3 large tubs of vanilla yogurt
- mascarpone
- 1 lb brown rice blend with black barley and radish seeds
- Bamba peanut snacks
- churro snacks
- beet crackers
- coconut oil
- probiotic capsules (I’ve heard these can be used to help with lacto-fermentation for foods like kimchi and pickles)
- 1 dozen red roses
